In our country, if you are born rich, you can get whatever you want. They have more power than the poor people. But if you are born poor, you have to work to get what you want.
In our country there are many avantages and dis avantages with these issues yet if you are born poor then i strongly feel there is no reason why you should not work as hard as you should to become as rich as the people who can get what ever they want. In many cases there are weathly people who have been "dirt poor" and have had to spend down to every penny to be were they are right now. I feel it is pure Lazyness if you do not make the best of any situation. the rich made there money some how, the poor can do the same.

I feel that in our society that if a person is born in to wealth they should not be given everything they want without some type of hard work put forth to get want they want. People who are just handed everything they ask for will never be an active memeber in society for many reasons. One being that they will not know the value of hard work, another being that they won't know the true value of a dollar. That is the biggest disadvantage of being born into wealth. However, people born poor, have a certain advantage because they have had their whole live to work for everything. Therefore, they appreciate everything they have a lot more than people who are born in to wealth do.
yes if you are born rich you have more advantages. Because when you get in trouble you can pay your way out of it. When your poor and you get in trouble you cant afford to get out of trouble there is alot of diffrent things you could go on about.
I disagree I find that People who are born rich are not the only people who get what ever they want. In high school the people who are popular are the ones who get what ever they want from other students and the brown nosers are the ones who get what ever they want from the teachers. And in the real world the people who get what ever they want are rich but not all ways born that way.
I disagree, just because you were born poor or rich has nothing to do with what you get. I think that if you work hard enough than you should be able to get whatever you want. Even though you were born rich, your parents may not give you what you want, you might just have to work for what you want just like everybody else. I think it can go both ways in this situation.
I somewhat agree with this because I do not believe rich people can have absolutely whatever they want; whether they are rich or not no one gets exactly what they want. I am a strong believer in the statement "money can't buy happiness." I do agree with the fact the rich have more powers than the poor and more oppertunities. Also, because people are born poor they will have to work their way up but are strongly capable of becoming wealthy.
I find that lacey makes a good point but I would like to bring up an other saying. "The Golden Rule, he who has the gold makes the rules." This explanes a lot of the problems of socioty. Especialy politicians do you know a single politican who was acualy poor. he could not have had the money for the election. this is a problem in a reperentitive democracy. the people are not represented by the politicians and they can not make govermental desicions directley.
I agree because if you are born rich then your choices are almost unlimited because you have the money to do all the things you want. Rich people also have more power than poor people for example if you have money then you can start your own company and become wealthy and powerful but if you dont have money then you dont even get the chance of starting your own company. If you are born into a rich family then you wont have to work as hard because everything is givin to you, unlike a poor person who was to work to get what they want.
I agree because when you are born into a rich family you pretty much have everything handed to you on a silver platter, wherein if you are born poor you have to work hard for everything you want. In our school we also have a caste system, for example: popular kids, smart kids, emo kids, cheerleaders, rich kids, poor kids, weird and nerdy kids, all sit in near somebody who they relate to.
I agree because if you are born into a rich family you can have anything you want when you are young. So when you get older you wont have to work for anything and your parents still pay for you. And if you are poor you will stay poor uless you work extremely hard to make a living. Which is just like the Brave New world and the rich stay rich and the poor are in the savage reserve.
I agree because being born into a rich family or a poor family is what we see in every day life. The people that are born rich have many more opportunities to be happy and successful than those who are born without wealth. that definitly true people who are born into wealth dont have to work when they become old enough and get the nicest car, clothes, and oppurtintuys. if you are more like the rest of use you had to pay for a car thats not so nice and clothes that are only ok. its more likly that the wealthy will have the good oppurtintuies like aplas. the rest have to see what comes our way. i took somas this weekend and they are awesome. no orgy tho. to bad
Although it is true that people who are born wealthy (through inheritance, etc.) dont have to work, and a lot of them don't, but what about the people who AREN'T born wealthy? Granted, poor people work very hard and get very little in return, but the wealthy have worked hard too. Just because someone's wealthy now, does not mean that they have always been that way. So people who were born poor could work up to being wealthy.
I can't really agree or disagree, with anyone. Come to think of it, everyone is born different, but it really shouldn't matter whether you have money or if you don't have money. If you honestly think about it, if your born with rich parents,yes, you will live a healthly life, but its not your money, its your parents have earned and worked for. Born an unwealthy child, it doesn't mean you can't go and work hard to earn your own money, and be succesful. I come from a middle class family, and i do have a job, i do earn my own money and i spend it wisely, i honestly think its better to spend my own hard working money, instead of my parents, they worked for that, and they don't need to spent it on me. But it shouldn't matter if your rich or poor to live your life, you should live your life the way you want to, and work hard for what you want in this world.
I believe in that quote because if you have money sometimes it gives you chances to better yourself and creates more oppertuinity because nothing is free, everything costs. So sometimes smart people are held make from reaching their goals because they dont have enough money. So if your rich you dont have to work as hard because you have the money to help you out. But if you are poor you constantly have to struggle through life trying to reach your goals and living day to day to ever make it out on top and be successful.
If your parents are wealthy that doesn't automatically make you wealthy because all of us have to work hard to reach our goals, maybe the wealthy people have an easier way but they still fight for it. It also depends on the education you get at home because, if your parents spoil you just because they're rich then you will never be independent. But if your parents teach you that they worked hard for where you are now, then you will learn that nothing is for free.
