I think he is doing the right thing because if he let the people do things with Science, Art, Religion, or even Literature they would be confused and it will be useless. Also I think that if Mond let them used Science they could even build up a bomb without even notice. Art, Religion, and Literature aren't hurtful but they are they are misunderstood.
Ignacio is excatly right. For them to know all that, I think they would be so confused and have like no idea what is going on. Learning four subjects can be tricky for them. They are not quite like us, their world is totally different so they would get lost.
I think it is wrong because people should have the right to know the history and background of our human race. It also will give them some knowledge and will know how to read think for themselves.
Mustapha Mond is doing a logical action by censoring art, science, religion, and literature. All those stated represent self-expression of human nature. In a totalitarian government, self expression is a huge threat towards the government for citizens will utilize self-expression against the government. Which is why in the book, Brave New World, every piece of document from the past is kept away from the society's reach.
NO it is not right because censoring people from everything affects them its not good for they learning experience in this world. Also i bet if they knew all these things excisted outside they perfect world they would be against all of it.
